Art Sohyang will present Chung T-yong's (b. 1977) solo exhibition, 《Your Plate, My Water Bottle》 from Saturday, September 20, 2025, to Saturday, October 18, 2025. The exhibition will feature approximately 30 works by Chung T-yong, a Milan-based artist who has lived and worked in both Korea and Italy for over 20 years, including installation art, two-dimensional works, and bronze human sculptures. 《Your Plate, My Water Bottle》 his first solo exhibition in Busan, showcases key works that encapsulate his practice, which has expanded the boundaries of his medium through visual and spatial experimentation.

Based in Italy for many years, Chung T-yong has actively embraced Western media, yet Eastern thought permeates his work. His processes of overlapping the silhouettes of empty containers and erasing the images of sculptures are attempts to reveal the unchanging "Space" and "Light" in a changing world. Only when the viewer encounters and fills in the meaning of another dimension of space discovered through the overlapping and erasing of forms can they truly experience the work's true meaning.

Korea Galleries' Association was established in 1976 to help Korean galleries activities. The association's members are up to about 170 galleries and its aim is to foster healthy art market. The first edition of the Korea Galleries Art Fair was held in 1979 and it is the first art fair in Korea. In the long history of the Galleries Art Fair, the members have been showing many emerging artists' new art pieces to make the Korean art market vibrant.

'The Korea Galleries Art Fair in Suwon' is held at the Suwon convention center in Gwangkyo, and 95 galleries are participating in. The association hopes you enjoy the variety collections that Korean galleries prepared for the young collectors.

Art Sohyang will present Kim Woo-jin exhibition “You Then, You Now, You Can Come Here” at the Art Sohyang Gallery from Saturday, May 17 to Saturday, June 14, 2025.

This exhibition features 21 works, including small sculptures and reliefs, centered around Kim Woo-jin’s large-scale sculpture installations that use animals as a subject to interpret childhood dreams and memories in a modern formative language. The artist, who is originally from Daejeon and actively works both domestically and internationally, seeks to awaken in adults the pure emotions and memories of childhood when they laughed and were excited by even the smallest things.
The artist, who is originally from Daejeon and actively works both domestically and internationally, has many of his works in the collections of celebrities such as BTS’s V and comedian Lee Soo-geun, and is currently holding a solo exhibition at the Powerlong Museum in Shanghai, China, and is recognized as an artist in the international art world.
