Sang Hwan's work begins with his cat,'Santo'. The artist shows the relationship between companion animals and companions about what people are missing in a materialistic society. The dogs and cats in the work are not just cute and adorable. While the appearance of the wild remains, the time spent with the owner shows a solid coexistence between them. The unconditional love of companion animals makes us look back on what precious things we are missing on our path toward ideals and desires for our goals.
