Ben is a budding ceramic artist who sits between ceramic craft, abstract game design, and lore imagination. His practice carves storytelling into abstract board games where ceramics become interactive tactile experiences to be played and replayed. Recalling his days in architecture, he treats games as a canvas form with a deep potential for memory, atmosphere, and narratives, where the player and the creator co-create their experiences.
His pieces often feel as though they were discovered rather than newly made: travel-worn, and shaped by unlikely cultural and otherworldly exchange. Hidden stories are weaved to overlap with other parallel artworks conjured in the same season in his living room as artifacts of the same universe and continuity. Clay, glaze, board geometry, and miniature forms become world building tools.
