I create contemporary ceramic vessels that challenge the boundaries between functional form and sculptural expression. Characterized by wide, dramatic rims, asymmetrical silhouettes, and sharply tapered bases, each piece is an exploration of balance, tension, and volume. While maintaining these signature, structural forms, my current work shifts toward a high-impact palette, utilizing bright metallic glazes and intense, vibrant colors. I wrap these striking surfaces in a dialogue of contrasts—juxtaposing the reflective, fluid qualities of liquid metals with sharp, graphic interventions like intricate wave patterns and bold, gestural strokes. The result is a body of work that fuses ancient pottery traditions with a futuristic, electric aesthetic.
