《Art Busan 2019》, which will become the barometer of the Korean art market in 2019, will be held at BEXCO, Busan, starting with the VIP preview on May 30th and until June 2nd. 《Art Busan》, which celebrated its eighth this year, is the largest in Korea in the first half of the year, with 164 galleries from 17 countries, and Europe's leading galleries confirmed their participation.
Art Busan has added highlights and vitality to the fair by introducing experimental works and activities that are being actively carried out in the contemporary era through various special exhibitions. This year, in particular, the installation exhibition 'PROJECTS' presented by participating galleries will be introduced for the first time. In addition, 'Art Accent', which has been planned since 2013 to support the activities of artists in Busan and Gyeongnam and provide opportunities to meet with the public, illuminates the world of works of 10 artists this year with the support of the Arts Management Support Center and Busan Bank.
