A house expressing a warm and happy time through its glowing lights,
a crape myrtle tree symbolizing abundance and prosperity through its grandeur,
and a background that gently embraces both the house and the tree,
these three elements are simplified and composed within the work.

Using charcoal, a material I played with as a child, the work functions as a medium that evokes memories. After applying charcoal to the canvas, I scratch into the surface to adjust the tones, expressing memories that remain either vividly dark or faintly light.

My work is a story.
Happy memories once existed there, and my story becomes our story-inviting empathy and comfort. Through this, I place meaning in my work as a way of offering 'happiness' to everyone.
