Based in London during the COVID-19 pandemic, the city was almost deserted due to restrictions. Yoo felt nostalgic and lonely, painting in her studio during the day and taking walks in the evening. Her paintings reflect her feelings during this period.
Yoo Jaeyeon's work collects and visualises fragments that arise from the space between childhood fantasy and reality.
